Once again he is running
one of his great schools at BMMXC. This time on Monday the 20th of
September.

Time for another
update, so here it is!
A Twilight
meeting will be held on the 11th of September. This will be an
open meeting and all riders are welcome to enter.

be used at this event. Please see entry form

The next night practice will be this Wednesday the 11th of August,
members only as always.
Warning about riding the track
The track is to be ridden in a
ANTI CLOCKWISE direction only. People have been seen lately cutting
the track and even jumping jumps side to side, not directly over as
they should. Members will have their membership revoked if found to
be doing this. This is for your own safety and this must rule must
be followed
July 25th Club Day Information.
Unfortunately the
entry forms for this event failed to mention
an added $10 for the supply of ambulance staff at the track.
Obviously this is for your safety. People who have already paid
their entry for this event may fix up the Ambulance Levy at sign in.

Committee Meeting
Monday 12th April - Members Welcome To Attend
A monthly committee meting will be held at 7pm
this Monday the 12th. Any members wanting to get involved or just
wanting to have a look at how the track is run are most welcome to
attend. Meetings are held at the track in the clubroom/canteen.

Track to Re-Open
this Sunday
We are happy to say that the track
will reopen to members better than ever this Sunday, the 21st of
March. Thanks to all that assisted to getting the track into tip top
shape. All riders are asked to do a sighting lap before riding the
track at their normal pace as it HAS CHANGED. Things such as
sand area's have been added so a sighting lap is a must
for ALL RIDERS no matter what your skill level.
TWILIGHT MEETING
CANCELLED AND TRACK CLOSED INDEFINITELY
Mother Nature has hit us
hard again with the track being under water. The March 13 Twilight
Meeting has unfortunately been cancelled due to this. All riders who
entered in the event should have by now received a phone call, and
refund organized. The track will also be closed to all riding until
it is safe.
The committee is
requesting anyone with Bobcats, Backhoe's (Or any machinery that can
help us) to put their hand up.
To get the track safe, we are going to need a
lot of help from members. 4 members showed up to our last working
bee, which was very disappointing. People will be at the track this
Saturday the 13th and members are urged to come and help out. Other
working bee's will organized after this date, and continue until the
track the safe for members to ride. We cannot control the
weather, but we can all control how quickly the track reopens.

Update on Flooding
Water pumps will arrive Monday to assist with
getting this lake removed. In the meantime here is another picture
of what state the track is currently in. If you enlarge the photo
(by clicking on it) you may recognize one of our "A Grade" riders
doing some cardiovascular training to keep at his peak while not
being able to ride at his home track.
Please note this is not recommended, as it may
lead to a 24 hour bug otherwise known as gastro.
March 13 Twilight Meeting
Announcement
Transponders will be used at this event. MV
transponders will work on our hardware. If you do not have a MV
transponder you may hire one from us for an additional $15. This
will result in much better, quicker and easier lap scoring
February Committee
Meeting News
A Honda Smart Advanced coaching school will be
held on March 29 and March 30. Cost is $195 for the two days. See

for more information. The track will be closed on both these dates.
The track will be closed on the 27th of
February from 12pm for a working bee. A BBQ will be supplied to all
helpers. Please note there will be no riding after the working bee,
as the fresh track needs to settle overnight.
The track will also be closed on the 10th,
11th, 12th and 13th of March for the preparation and running of the
Twilight Meeting. It will reopen on the 14th at 12pm
Track Closures
The track will be closed until 12pm on
Saturday the 13th of January and also until 12pm on Sunday the 14th
of January. This is for private coaching sessions.

Nuddawadding Motocross Club have kindly
invited ALL Bmmxc members to attend their race day on Good Friday,
the 2nd of April. All proceeds will be donated to the Good Friday
appeal. Great opportunity to race at another track, with fellow

Track Closed This
Weekend.
The track will be closed Saturday morning
(January 30th) until 12pm. A working bee will begin at 12pm. Anyone
attending may ride on track after working bee is complete. Les will
also be doing renewals for current 2009 members between 12pm - 3pm
On Sunday (January 31st) the track closed
until 3pm for member inductions. This is the last day 2009
members can use the track.
Reminder of Choice
Suspension Days.
A reminder that Anthony from Choice Suspension
will be at the Track on January 20th, 21st and 22nd to set up your
Suspension while you ride. This is a unique opportunity to get your
suspension set up properly, in one day, at your home track. Best
money to spend on your bike bar none. Limited spots and appointments

Another date for
Membership Renewals
Renewals will be taking place on Wednesday
20th January between 10am and 1pm. This is for renewals only, for
2009 members.
New Date for
Renewals
Renewals for current 2009 members will
take place on Tuesday 26th on January between 9am and 12pm.
Anyone that holds a current competition
race license, being Motocross or Supercross may become a new member
on this day.
Please remember an appointment must be made.

Also a reminder to all 2009 members;
Your position is held until February 1st 2010 only. Be sure to have
your membership renewed before this, as there is a waiting list for
new members and your position will not be secure after this date.

Bike Stolen
Shattered 7 yr old young Browny woke up to
hearing his KTM SX01 65 roaring off from their camp site around 4 am
new years day towards Bairnsdale, the camp was between Golden Beach
and Paradise Beach in the Gypsland area of Victoria. The bike has or
did have the numbers 491 on the number plates and a Phillip Island
surf shop sticker on the front number plate and Mototech stickers on
the front mud guards. If anyone see's the bike or hears about it,
they can call Old Browny on 0437785153. A reward is on offer.
Notice for people
with appointments on January 10th for Induction/Rider Coaching
Please make sure you bring a ride able bike.
This is because you will be riding! Also if you are unable to make
your appointment please let Les know ASAP so he can make other
arrangements

Gilesy from Choice Suspension will be out
at the track on January 20th, 21st and 22nd. Please make sure
you have an appointment with him if you are wanting to get your
suspension done at the track on these dates. Forms can be

Membership Information
Renewals for current 2009 members will
be done on the spot, on the following dates at the track. Saturday
12th December, 2:30pm-5:30pm. Saturday 19th December 9am-12pm.
Saturday 2nd January 9am-12pm. Saturday 9th January, 9am-12pm.
Please remember to bring photo ID (Including proof of age) and a
passport photo.
Current members please remember your
position at the club is held until the 1st of February 2010. You
have up until then to renew. It will then become vacant for new
members.
Memberships for any more new members will
not not become available until late January/early February.
No forms received via mail will be accepted for new
members. Please watch this space towards the end of January for
information on new memberships.
The Track Will Also be closed between 11am
and 2pm on the following Dates : Sun 20th December, Sun 3rd January
and Sun 10th January.

The track will be closed on the following
dates, for preparation for the Club Championships and December
Twilight Meeting. November 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th
and 29th. Also December 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th
and 13th.

A reminder for people to make sure they
have their membership cards and a form of ID with them at all
times when at the track. Membership checks will become more
common.

A reminder that if you are wanting to join
the committee for 2010 you must have submitted a Nomination
Form. You should have received these in the mail the past few
weeks.

BMMXC Formal in early 2010. Feedback welcome.

October Committee
Meeting News
The Club Championships will be held on
Saturday the 28th and Sunday the 29th of November. Two rounds
will be held on the Saturday, one Saturday night and the final two
on the Sunday. The annual AGM will be held at 9am Sunday, and racing
to commence immediately after. A free dinner will be held for all
members on the Saturday night and all members are urged to attend
and camp the night if they wish (free of charge).
A Twilight meeting will be held on Saturday
the 12th of December.

October, Final Night Practice for the YEAR!
Its on again! Same rules and format as always!
The track will be closed until 4pm when gates
with open. Riding will commence at 5pm and conclude at 9pm. All
members are welcome. A Fee of $15 per rider will be charged. Members

again!

Meeting News
Lee Hogan will be hosting his "Girls On
The Gas" at BMMXC on September 5th and 6th. He will also be hosting
another one of this schools at the track on this date. Entry forms

The club is in the process of
organising coaching to social riders on jumping. This would be for
social riders who do not hold a MV licence only. Feedback welcome.

Track Closed This
Friday the 31st from 3PM and Saturday The 1st.
This is due to preparation for our August 2nd
club day. We want to get the track in the best condition possible as
always!
More money being
spent on the track, for the better!
Machinery like this does not come cheap. Nor
does peoples time. The back of the track is being redesigned this
week and its going to be bigger, better and safer than ever. First
things first though, was moving the tyres!
Rest assured the committee has a great plan to
make this track one of the best in the country. You just never know
what is around the corner!
Theft At Club
Unfortunately the club's containers were
broken into on the weekend of Saturday and 4th and Sunday the 5th of
July. Many items were stolen, a list of them can be seen
here. If anyone has
any information about this please call Kevin on 0408107017. A reward
will be offered. Everyone please keen an eye and ear out.
